Leatherface Revisited (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 - Extended Unrated Version)

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 - Leatherface
Assembled back in June 2016, this fan edit of Jeff Burr's installment of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre gives the film a gritty, totally new, more action packed identity complete with a selection of Thrash Metal and Death Metal songs from the era to further enhance the new tone (which was chiefly inspired by Lamberto Bava's heavy metal horror epic "Demons").

Due to this edit being made two years before the release of the Warner Archive blu-ray, I used an HD transfer of the R-Rated cut, a badly interlaced DVD rip of the unrated cut and a 720p VHS rip of a workprint in the creation of this edit. The deleted scenes featurette on the DVD was also used to make this the single most violent cut of the film in existence.

I have no real intention to make an updated version of the edit using the blu-ray transfer of the unrated cut (largely because I would have to redownload the film damage overlay, the workprint and recreate the overall dirty appearance of this edit from scratch), but please enjoy this edit as what it is.

A recut that finally makes this film watchable.
