By request (albeit a year later), is From Corleone To Brooklyn, a eurocrimer from 1979 starring Maurizio Merli as an Italian cop who must transfer a witness from Corleone, Italy to Brooklyn, New York, so he can testify against a crime boss hiding out in New York under a false name. This was directed by Italian veteran Umberto Lenzi, and also stars Van Johnson as the Brooklyn police lieutenant busting his balls trying to catch Merli's crime boss, played by Mario Merola. This is also one of Merli's many movies where he plays Inspector Berni, and turns in a stellar performance.
