Clown is the story of a man who goes through a horrific and demonic transformation, much along the lines of Seth’s character from the 1986 horror classic The Fly. In Clown, Kent McCoy, played by Andy Powers, can feel himself transforming into something monstrous, but he cannot help it. He transforms into a sadistic monster that intends to devour five children, and stopping him is a task that’s almost impossible. The obvious victim of this mess turns out to be Kent’s young son Jack. This dark tale of indirect cannibalism and horror started out as a fake trailer in 2010 and eventually gained the attention of co-producer Eli Roth, who has directed films like the 2005 horror film Hostel. Eli decided to give the film a shot and helped it come to life. Interestingly, the titular monster was played by Eli himself.
