Freitag der 13.

    • Als Meilenstein und Prototyp des US-Teenie-Slashers ganz okay. Betonung liegt auf "US", denn Italien ist in dieser Hinsicht schon Vorreiter gewesen. Der Karrieresprung von Kevin Bacon, der leider nie zum großen Schauspielstar geschafft hat. Bisher mein einziger Teil der Freitag, der 13.-Reihe. Fortsetzungen erzählen meistens nichts Neues.

      Freitag der 13 Part 1 dieser Streifen der Anfang der Jason Saga ist bzw hat bei den Fans Kultstatus, aber ich sehe das nicht so.Ja der/die Shizophrene die sich an alle Rächen will weil ihr/sein (zwecks Spoiler ihr sein) geliebtes Kind Jason im See ertrunken ist mag zwar ein plausibler Grund sein, auch die Atmosphäre samt Kulise/Camp/Kameraführung/Musik ist hervoragend, aber zugegeben ist der Streifen auch streckenweise ziemlich langatmig.Die Kills sind Nett anzusehen aber mehr wiederum auch nicht.Für nen 80iger Slasher zu wenig wenn man bedenkt welch Schier andere Backwood-Slasher oder nur Slasher Filmchen als solches gibt die weit aus besser sind.Er war gut, mehr aber auch nicht.Als eigenständiger Film ohne seine hervoragenden nachfolger würde Freitag der 13 neben den anderen Slashern sicher untergegangen sein.Trotz der etwas "Harten" Kritik ist er und bleibt er eben ein Kultfilm ohne es die anderen Filme nie gegeben hätte.Als Slasher Freund der gepflegten 80iger Jahre Unterhaltung, ist der Streifen natürlich pflicht.

      Dabei sind alle Filme der Reihe, und massig Bonus Material, der Preis ist noch nicht bekannt.

    • Jede Wette, der Preis wird für jeden Normalbürger wieder Unerschwinglich, ich schätze mal ca. 130 bis 150,- Euro. (Maniac liegt ja schon bei über 60,-). Da vergeht einem schon von vorne herein die Lust am Sammeln.

    • 3 Jahre ließ die FSK Prüfung auf sich warten, um der vom Index gestrichenen Familie Voorhees ihre passende Freigabe zu verpassen.
      Mama wie Sohnemann wurden nun in ungekürzter Form geprüft, dabei kam das Gremium zu folgenden Ergebnis ;

    • Teil 1 hat wirklich einige Fortsetzungen nach sich gezogen, doch keine, zumindest laut DVD-Cover, hat je die Klasse des Originals erreicht.
      Nun, der Streifen mag im Vergleich zu anderen zwar eigenständig erscheinen aber ich bezweifle das er von Anfang an, trotz dem coolen Schock-Ende, auf ne Fortsetzung ausgelegt war.
      Die Kopf-Ab Szene mit Betsy Palmer ist längst zum Kult aufgestiegen, aus meiner Sicht sogar noch mehr als der Kopfschuß in Maniac.

      Palmer spielt wirklich einzigartig, kleiner aber feiner Thriller mit enormer Nachwirkung. Vielleicht etwas lahm aus heutiger Sicht,
      doch im wesentlichen Kult und genau richtig am Ende. BTW: Bacon's Tod ist auch nicht verachtenswert.

      ..das sieht wirklich gut aus, ich konnte da jetzt auch keine nervigen teens entdecken, scheint mehr auf ein erwachseneres publikum zugeschnitten zu sein. die optik und jason koennen sich auch sehen lassen.
    • Wegweisender Klassiker des Horrorgenres und Vater des Slasherfilmes wie wir ihn heute kennen. Doch gleichzeitig sind die Schwächen von "Freitag der 13.", von welchen auch ein Großteil der folgenden Teile leiden, offensichtlich.
      Selbst mit einer kurzen Laufzeit von 90 Minuten weist der Film einige Längen auf, welche ich verschmerzen könnte, wenn die Charaktere interessant wären. Leider bleiben die meisten Figuren eher blass. Schauspielerisch wird mit Betsy Palmer zumindest eine sehr gute Performance geboten. Sie holt das Beste aus ihrer recht mageren Rolle heraus. Adrienne King gibt im Vergleich zu späteren Final Girls ebenfalls gut, selbst wenn sie ein wenig apathisch daherkommt. Mit Kevin Bacon ist auch ein Star vor seiner Blütezeit mit an Bord, jedoch hat er hier noch wenig zu tun. Damit ist natürlich kein Vergleich gegeben zu seinen späteren Rollen in beispielsweise "JFK" oder vielleicht auch "Echoes". Walt Gorney als der verrückte Ralph ist hoffnungslos am overacten, was aber vielleicht ganz unterhaltsam wirkt. Ansonsten beinhaltet der Cast typisches Futter für den Bodycount. Dieser fällt im ersten Teil noch nicht so hoch aus. Dafür sind die meisten Mordszenen sehr gut von Tom Savini inszeniert. Einige Szenen sind bis heute berüchtigt. Allerdings fallen leider auch ein Großteil der Kills ins Off, was etwas lahm wirkt.

      Ungewöhnlich positiv fällt die Kameraarbeit auf. Lange Kamerafahrten, One-Takes und einige artistische Einstellungen geben "Freitag der 13." einen leichten Vorsprung vor den meisten anderen genreverwandten Werken. Nur die POV-Shots wurden recht unkreativ von vorherigen Werken wie "Halloween" und "Black Christmas" übernommen. Allgemein werden hier recht viele Bestandteile aus früheren Filmen vereint. Somit mangelte es bereits dem Begründer des modernen Slasherfilms an eigenen Ideen, was von den heutigen Vertretern des Genres überhaupt nicht mehr erwartet. Auch Whodunit-Elemente sind im Film enthalten, allerdings kränkelt es hier an der zwar unerwarteten, aber recht unspektakulär inszenierten Auflösung, welche kaum emotionale Gewichtung hat, da man den Tätern zuvor kaum sieht im Film.

      Die Camp-Atmosphäre ist recht besinnlich und wegbereitend, kommt in späteren "Freitag"-Teilen aber besser zur Geltung. Allgemein kann ich die starke Atmosphäre, von der viele sprechen, nicht wirklich ausmachen, auch wenn es in dem Aspekt weitaus schlimmere Vertreter gibt. Im nächtlichen Finale kommt noch etwas Spannung auf, das große Vorbild "Halloween" ist dennoch atmosphärisch weit überlegen.

      Insgesamt bin ich recht zwiegespalten. Für einen normalen Slasher ist "Freitag der 13." ganz nett, aber dem Hype wird er kaum gerecht.

      Ich respektiere Deine Meinung, aber bitte bedenke auch, dass Freitag, der 13. im Grunde der aller erste Slasher überhaupt war. Die Story ist meines Erachtens grandios und nicht umsonst ist Jason bis heute der beliebteste Massenmörder und auch noch mit dem höchsten Bodycount.

      Halloween hat sich geweigert Splatterszenen zu integrieren, was Mais Erachtens ein großer Fehler war und auch "Im Blutrausch des Satans" zählt nicht. Freitag Part 1 war der Erste, der auf die Kacke haute in einem ganz normalen Slasher-Movie und darüber hinaus auch noch die schöne Hintergrund-Story bot.

    • Ich weiß, dass ich in der Unterzahl bin und auch bleiben werde. Ich mag John Carpenter sehr gerne und finde sein "Thing" einer der besten Filme überhaupt.

      Jedoch würde ich auch wie Cobra-Cody "Bay of Blood" auch deutlich im Gialo einordnen. Er hat auch deutlich bessere Effekte als "Halloween 1" zu bieten. Halloween ist ein einziges Kommerz-Produkt (verstehe ich auch, keine Frage).

      Rob Zombie hat die Halloween-Reihe erst richtig interessant gemacht (für mich). Tylor Mane als Myers einfach grandios - zwar auch kein richtigen Splatter, aber immerhin die Story interessant gemacht.

      Es sind mehrere Filmfehler im Anfang zum original Halloween zu beachten, die dem Pendant Freitag 1 nicht passiert sind.


      Ich habe den Hype um Halloween 1 nie verstanden, auch wenn ich verstehe, dass ihn Manche als Klassiker sehen, da es für die der erste richtige Slasher war (berechtigt)

      Freitag 1 macht aber keine Fehler, bietet Blut und Splatter, ist ehrlich zum Publikum und war seiner Zeit ein wenig (nicht viel) voraus.
